We have extensive experience representing individuals and companies before governmental authorities. We have represented accountants, attorneys, doctors, authors, restaurateurs, mechanics, construction professionals, electricians, and various other small and mid-sized business proprietors. We also represent entities such as publicly-traded companies, technology companies, cannabis enterprises, multi-state entities, domestic and foreign corporations, and non-profit entities.
We have a wide range of experience handling audits, appeals, protests, and settlements regarding income tax, employment tax, sales and use tax, excise tax, property tax, and various other tax matters.
We have represented clients from all 50 states as well as foreign countries and territories. We communicate with clients by phone and electronically, allowing out-of-state and international clients to have a local presence with taxing authorities. As your representatives, we can readily appear before federal tax authorities on your behalf.
We assist out-of-country individuals with applications using the E-2 nonimmigrant classification, which allows a national of a treaty country (a country with which the United States maintains a treaty of commerce and navigation) to be admitted to the United States when investing a substantial amount of capital in a U.S. business.
Further, and in part due to recent increases in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) I-9 inspections, we represent businesses to ensure compliance with Immigration Laws.
